PHOENIX, June 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/—Sunora Energy Solutions today opened its new headquarters and solar modular-assembly and fabrication facilities at 2342 E. University Drive in Phoenix, AZ.

The 58,000-square-foot facility houses the corporation’s fabrication facilities, construction operations, support services, and offices for the executive staff.

“We chose Phoenix for its proximity to our client projects, its business-friendly environment, as well as the workforce availability the city offers,” said John Plumlee, chief executive officer, Sunora Energy Solutions.

Sunora Energy Solutions is expected to create approximately 75 jobs in Phoenix this year.

“Sunora Energy Solutions is making an important investment in Phoenix by adding quality jobs and growing our renewable energy industry,” said Mayor Greg Stanton. “When we work together with our business community, the end result is a thriving Phoenix economy that fosters innovation.”

In addition to solar design, engineering, and construction services provided, Sunora Energy Solutions fabricates and preassembles proprietary solar arrays at its facilities in Phoenix.

“Sunora’s decision to locate its North American solar facility in Phoenix reinforces the market’s national reputation as a leader in renewable energy,” said Barry Broome, president and chief executive officer, Greater Phoenix Economic Council. “Sunora Energy represents a stellar combination of capital and project development expertise with technology know-how, and I couldn’t be happier to welcome them to the region.”
