Karl-Erik Stromsta

Managing Editor

Karl-Erik is the managing editor of Greentech Media’s newsroom, based in New York.

Before joining GTM in spring 2019, Karl-Erik spent 10 years covering the global renewable energy market at Recharge, first as a London-based Europe correspondent and then as managing editor for North America. Karl-Erik has reported from more than 20 countries as a business journalist. He holds a BA in Human Biology from Michigan State University and an MA in Journalism from the University of Southern California.

Eric Swanson

Director, Digital Media and Event Sales

With over a decade of experience in the industry, Eric's passion lies in working closely with marketing teams to better understand and reach the energy landscape (which, of course, is always changing!).

Eric leads the Greentech Media sales team. His team's goal is to collaboratively work with leading organizations in the industry to build innovative and impactful marketing and thought leadership campaigns across the landscape of GTM's industry-leading platforms. Prior to joining GTM in 2018, Eric spent 3 years heading up Zpryme's marketing solutions sales team, where he helped grow its flagship event, Energy Thought Summit (ETS), into one of the must-attend annual events in the energy industry. He started his career with Energy Central as a campaign manager, project-managing marketing campaigns for clients across the industry. When the team realized how much clients loved working with him, Eric eventually was promoted to Client Solutions Director, working with some of the firm's top clients. Eric works out of his home office in Colorado. When he's not working, he can be found snowboarding at Vail or Beaver Creek with his wife and two little girls.

Kristine LaRocca

Creative Director

Kristine LaRocca-Niedzwiecki is our Creative Director at Greentech Media. Kristine has been with the company since 2009 and previously was the Lead Graphic Designer.

Kristine has a vast knowledge and expertise in color, typography, layout and user experience. In past projects, her talents encompassed a broad range of branding strategy, identities, package design, web design, and user interface. Before joining Greentech Media, Kristine worked at design firms 22 Graphics and Boomerang Pharmaceuticals Communications. Kristine attended Pratt Institute where she studied Graphic Design and graduated with a BFA in Communication Design. During Kristine's personal time she enjoys traveling, keeping up with interior/architectural trends, visiting museums and spending time with her husband.
