During a recent panel discussion about today’s wind business marketplace put on by the American Wind Energy Association, J.P. Morgan (NYSE:JPM-J) Energy Investments Managing Director John Eber observed that the wind business is coming back strong from a lull earlier this year:

“When the PTC got extended, we saw a pickup in activity in wind farms that developers had hoped to develop all along. They were on hold until the extension. Then interest in developing them was reactivated."

He continued, “There is activity in the marketplace. We are investing in projects and working on projects for new investments."

“I don’t see a shortage of available capital relative to the available projects, especially on the tax equity side, which is where we focus our attention,” Eber concluded.
