The Grid Edge Executive Council Welcomes 10 New Members

New members including Blue Pillar, NiSource, New York Power Authority, CPS Energy and CODA Energy have joined the growing Council.

GTM Research welcomes 10 new member companies to the Grid Edge Executive Council: Blue Pillar, CODA Energy, CPS Energy, Cummins, Honda, Jabil, NiSource, New York Power Authority, Recurrent Energy and Stoel Rives.

Council members receive access to all grid edge research, quarterly market briefings from our analysts, and the Grid Edge Deployment Tracker data service. They also get to attend all GTM Research industry events and conferences, as well as six annual exclusive Council Member-only meetings backed by analyst research and input.

Last week Council members met in Phoenix, Arizona, before Greentech Media's Solar Summit 2015 conference, to discuss the future of utility rates in a distributed electricity system. "While there were a lot of varying opinions in the room, one thing is certain: pricing for electricity and emerging rate structures is a big topic of interest among our member companies," said Steve Propper, Director of GTM Research's Grid Edge program. "It was great to see this group of thought leaders come together, brainstorm key trends and identify some issues that utilities, regulators and policymakers should consider in future pricing models."

The next Council meeting will take place in San Diego, Calif. on June 22, just ahead of Grid Edge Live 2015, when participants will gather to talk about policy and business model changes at the grid edge.
