GTM Research’s Grid Edge Executive Council Adds Hawaii PUC, NREL and Exelon Corp.

The Council welcomes eight new members leading up to our Grid Edge Live event.

GTM Research is happy to welcome eight new members to the Grid Edge Executive Council today: Hawaii PUC, NREL, Enbala Power Networks, 1Energy Systems, PowerSys, LocalGrid Technologies and West Monroe Partners, as well as the Exelon Corporation utility family, including Exelon Generation, Constellation, BGE, ComEd, PECO, Atlantic City Electric, Delmarva Power and Pepco.

As we approach our first Grid Edge Live conference on June 24, these new additions join nearly 60 other member companies at the forefront of grid modernization and distributed generation. The diverse group will meet prior to the conference to talk about disruptors as a framework for discussing grid edge market evolution, hearing a variety of perspectives and views on the changing energy landscape. These Council meetings provide a great opportunity for discussion of key grid-edge topics, such as the impact of high-penetration distributed PV or the evolution of the microgrid landscape.

"We're looking forward to our next meeting, where we'll discuss how customer behaviors are transforming the electricity market over the next decade," said Rick Thompson, president of Greentech Media. "These new additions to the Council will bring unique perspectives to the conversation, as many of them are at the forefront of the disruption."

The Council meets in-person and online eight times per year, giving members access to all of GTM Research's grid modernization market reports and data services, and facilitating interaction with GTM's analyst team.
