THE Q3 2014 LATIN AMERICA PV PLAYBOOK IS NOW AVAILABLE
Latin America is the global frontier for unsubsidized solar markets. With high insolation levels and growing demand, it is positioned to be one of the most attractive regions on the planet for solar development. Eyeing the region's potential, GTM Research introduced the Latin America PV Playbook, the industry's most in-depth analysis of the budding market.
According to the latest edition of the Playbook, the region will install 805 megawatts this year and will nearly triple that total in 2015.

Other highlights from this quarter:
- With 308 MW in 2014 and 1 GW in 2015, Chile is expected to lead the region over the next two years. However, we expect Mexico to be the largest cumulative market out to 2018.
- Central America is expected to install 550 MW per year out to 2018
- There are 433 MW of operational projects as of 3Q14, with a 22 GW pipeline
