Grid Power Electronics for High Penetration PV Integration

The deployment of distributed solar continues to increase rapidly in the United States. Utilities are setting various restrictions as the penetration of distributed solar on certain feeders begin to outstrip the abilities of traditional modeling and control tools to ensure feeder stability, reliability, and safety.

Targeted feeder upgrades will be required to increase PV penetration beyond these restricted levels.
