Solar Spectrum and Horizon Solar Power Merge Under Sungevity Brand

On August 17, 2017, North Pacific Group, the owner of Solar Spectrum, acquired a majority stake in Horizon Solar Power, bringing both companies under the same umbrella with the Sungevity brand. The two companies will continue to operate separately, leveraging Horizon’s successful customer acquisition strategies and Solar Spectrum’s software which streamlines the installation process for the company as well as customers.

This brief report explains why this merger matters to the U.S. residential solar market.
