by Benjamin Attia, Tom Heggarty, Rishab Shrestha, Prashant Khorana

An estimated 31GW of distributed solar and 233 GW of utility-scale solar will be added through 2021 in selected APAC markets. A decline in China, Australia and Japan in the five-year horizon will be mitigated to some extent by growth in India and other key markets in Southeast Asia as policy transitions have a mixed impact on the region.

Countries covered in the report include Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand. The report includes analysis on solar market fundamentals, policy, wholesale market dynamics, and CAPEX and LCOE estimates.
