Ms. Malini Balakrishnan is Borrego’s Chief Information Officer and head of our Continuous Improvement department. She oversees the development and deployment of new enterprise software technologies and business processes that drive efficiency, cross-departmental information sharing, project management tools, and value improvements that ultimately drive stronger business relationships with our customers and partners. Her background includes over 20 years in IT leadership and change management at companies that were at critical inflection points in their growth and needed technology to inform, enable and accelerate their business transformations. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Chris Holcomb

Vice President of Technology, 7X Energy

Chris applies data analysis, financial modeling, and software design experience towards innovation in the utility-scale solar industry. He empowers developers, financiers, and engineers to find the perfect location for projects using Smart Power Maps, 7X's solar development software suite. While leading software design, he also supports production modeling, interconnection review, and the identification of cutting-edge products.

Prior to joining 7X, Chris co-founded the DOE SunShot Award-winning company that conceived Smart Power Maps. Previously, Chris led data analysis for the world's most granular solar energy and EV charging data-set. He also developed tools for tracking environmental enforcement actions, cleantech patents, and energy efficiency rebates. Chris earned a Dual Masters in Energy and Earth Resources and Public Policy at the University of Texas while acting as Publicity Directory for Engineers Without Borders. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M.

When not developing tools to build upon solar's success, you may find Chris swimming in Barton Springs or swing dancing, but likely not at the same time.

Paul Grana is the co-founder of Folsom Labs, where he leads sales and marketing, where he has helped to grow the company to thousands of installers in over 70 countries. He founded the Solar Software Summit in partnership with GTM Events. He previously worked at Abound Solar, and led product management and technical marketing with Tigo Energy.  Paul holds a BS in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Chicago, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Molly is a Research Associate at Wood Mackenzie. Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Molly was an account manager at CivicSolar, helping solar PV installers design their systems and selling them equipment. Molly holds a bachelor’s degree in global studies from Colby College, with a concentration in environmental studies.
