GTM Focus is a free-to-attend 90-minute virtual series covering the most pressing challenges and opportunities in clean energy. Wood Mackenzie’s Energy Storage research team will connect with some of the most innovative energy storage technology players and developers to break down how the latest innovations in system design and performance monitoring are enhancing battery life and reducing operational costs.

ENHANCING STORAGE LIFE-CYCLE MANAGEMENT

With additional pressure on energy storage project margins and the need to expand the lifespan of battery systems, life-cycle management has become an essential factor impacting the viability and success of large-scale stationary batteries. As the scale of announced energy storage projects continues to grow and more and more developers get closer to (and pass) the 100-megawatt threshold, the opportunities for cost and operational efficiency become more significant.

From strategies to operate batteries more efficiently to automation and predictive analytics tools helping asset managers reduce operational downtime and increase safety, this exclusive virtual session led by developers, asset owners and operators and energy storage management system vendors will break down some of the key drivers behind life-cycle management optimization from cradle to grave
