As a Vice President of Project Finance, Cassidy leads the team responsible for securing the capital necessary to realize on our pipeline by executing debt, tax equity and M&A transactions.Over the course of her career, she has financed approximately 3 GW of solar projects with varying off-take and financial structures.Prior to Cypress Creek in 2017, Cassidy led the M&A team at Recurrent Energy after several years leading project finance transactions, including the corporate sale of Recurrent Energy to Canadian Solar.Before joining Recurrent Energy, Cassidy was a consultant at IHS Cambridge Energy Research Associates, a power and electricity-focused advisory firm. Cassidy received her BA from Stanford University.

Erik is the CEO of Leyline Renewable Capital, a renewable energy finance company. Previously he was CEO & Managing Director at Entropy Solar Integrators, part of York Capital Management, a large global hedge fund. Prior to joining Entropy he spent 8 years as the CEO and Founder of Argand Energy Solutions, a commercial and utility scale solar company. In 2014 he completed the successful sale of Argand to York Capital.

Erik is active in renewable energy advocacy, education, and advancement efforts and brings a sales, finance and management background to Leyline. He graduated from Radford University in 1992 with a BS in Business Administration and Marketing, and in 2005 he completed the rigorous Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) program at the Wharton Executive Education Program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to entering the renewable energy industry in 2006 he spent 13 years in wealth management as a Vice President in the Investment Services Group at Bank of America, Vice President in the Private Client Group at Credit Suisse First Boston, and Vice President and Manager at Scott & Stringfellow, a regional wealth management firm.

In additional to his professional affiliations he sits on the Board of Visitors of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been an  active member of Vistage International for over 10 years.

He resides with his wife, Dr. Hendree Jones, a UNC professor, and their family in a solar-powered home in the rural hills outside Chapel Hill. He has two children, Ashley and Davis, and enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, fishing, kayaking, and playing squash.

Mr. Jimmy Chuang is a seasoned renewable energy executive with over 15 years of experience in the areas of capital raising, structured finance, M&A, principal investment, and business development. Throughout his career, Jimmy has executed various transactions for an aggregate value of $50 billion. Over the past 13 years, he has held C-level executive management positions at several world’s largest, publicly traded and private solar and storage companies, Strata Solar, GCL, SolarCity (now Tesla), Fotowatio, and Protection 1 (now ADT Security), and built and financed more than 3GW (or $6 billion) of residential, commercial and utility scale solar PV and storage assets in the U.S. Currently, he is the Chief Capital Markets Officer at Strata Solar, one of the largest, fully integrated solar and storage energy service providers in the U.S., where he is responsible for its corporate finance, structured finance and M&A efforts. Jimmy received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from University of California at Berkeley, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, selected as a Bill Gates Scholar and honored as a University of California Regents’ Scholar.

Mr. Medina coordinates ThoughtTrace’s product implementation efforts across the oil & gas, power generation, renewable energy, and real estate markets. For the past decade, Mr. Medina’s experience has spanned across multiple industry sectors and he has worked with publicly traded and private equity firms along with government agencies. Arthur has been involved with over $30 billion in asset sales working with buyers, sellers, and financial institutions involved in the transaction process. In addition to Medina’s transaction experience, he has spearheaded development projects across the US working closely with asset managers, engineers, land and legal, real estate, and technical business units.

Medina began his career in east Texas with DMV Petroleum and Aspen Pipeline, LP. Most recently he served as an executive for a PE-backed energy firm that was acquired by Satori Capital. Medina sits on the education development board of the AAPL that is responsible for developing new courses and content for the industry. He holds a BBA from Stephen F. Austin State University.
