Two days ago, MIT sent us a press release stating that Levant Power, which makes a shock absorber that turns vibrations into electricity, won the MIT Energy Prize. Husk Insulation, which makes insulation from renewable materials, was a runner up.

The school then sent out a second release. Husk, which hails out of the University of Michigan, won the competition, MIT said in the second one. Levant was a runner up.

It turns out Husk won.

The university regrets the error. And congrats to both.
