Paul Baier leads Groom Energy's Climate Consulting practice, which assists Groom Energy's customers with their sustainability strategies  and GHG inventories. Paul recently co-published Groom's research report titled "Enterprise Carbon Accounting" and authors a sustainability blog.

Paul has been active with the emerging national organizations focused on GHG emissions and climate impact, representing Groom Energy at associations such EPA Climate Leaders, The Climate Registry, Carbon Disclosure Project and the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.

Prior to his current role with Groom Energy, Paul held multiple senior executive roles with enterprise software service and management consulting firms such as Authoria, Open Market, AOL and Deloitte Consulting. Mr. Baier earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Kenyon College.

Timothy Greiner, a Pure Strategies partner, specializes in building environmental and social integrity into products, brands, and businesses. Tim's experience includes developing sustainability strategies for Stonyfield Farm, Seventh Generation, Dell and other leading green businesses. With more than 300 audits at manufacturing plants to his credit, Tim has more than 15 years of experience developing and implementing sustainability strategies. Projects range from supply chain alignment and enterprise carbon accounting to product scorecards, life cycle analysis, and corporate level sustainability reports.

Tim holds a bachelor's degree in Materials Science Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and masters degrees in Environmental Policy and Business from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Greiner is a founding member of the Massachusetts Toxics Use Reduction Planners Association and a former Board member and President. He is also founder of the Cape Ann Climate Change Network and is a Research Associate at the Lowell Center for Sustainable Production. He also worked for the Massachusetts Office of Technical Assistance as Project Director and Chief Engineer.
