Colleen Campbell, with 15 years of experience in the engineering and construction field, is the business development director for the rapidly growing solar power market for the EPC firm CH2M HILL. She is responsible for working with clients to develop custom solutions that meet specific solar needs in the utility scale solar thermal and photovoltaic industries. She was recently the capture manager on $1billion solar thermal pursued by CH2M HILL. Colleen has previously worked for Kiewit Construction and earned her civil engineering degree at Bucknell University and obtained an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Director, Good Energies
Nathan is a Director with Good Energies in New York, where he is primarily focused on investments in the downstream solar space. He joined Good Energies from Macquarie Capital, where he served as an Associate Director in both New York and Sydney. During his six years at the firm, Nathan was involved in both principal and advisory transactions across a number of sectors including renewable energy, energy distribution, semiconductors and transportation. Most recently, Nathan was leading Macquarie's solar team in their New York office.

Matt Cheney is the CEO of CleanPath Ventures, which manages the global renewables finance fund, CleanPath Development Fund (CPDF). CleanPath is designed to provide mezzanine development and construction finance to large-scale solar projects.
Matt Cheney is the former CEO of Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, a global solar Independent Power Producer that is one of the largest companies of its kind worldwide, and MMA Renewable Ventures, which Fotowatio acquired in 2009. MMA focused on the development, ownership and operation of a multi-million dollar portfolio of large and distributed scale solar, wind, biomass, and energy efficiency project investments, including the 14 MW solar facility at Edwards Air Force base in 2007.
Prior to that, Mr. Cheney was the CEO of NUON Renewable Ventures USA LLC. He also served as Director of North American Business Development for NUON NV in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In that role, he developed NUON's North American renewable energy investment strategy, managing a number of U.S.-based acquisitions. Mr. Cheney himself took NUON Renewable Ventures private in 2004 under the name of Renewable Ventures LLC. Nuon Renewable Ventures first introduced the PPA to the U.S. retail solar market in 2001.
Mr. Cheney has more than twenty-five years in the fields of civil engineering, energy, and environment, including experience with the U.S. Agency for International Development in South America, the National Rural Electric Co-op Association's International Programs, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Utility PhotoVoltaicGroup, now the Solar Electric Power Association ("SEPA"). Mr. Cheney serves on various boards, including SEPA. He advises other companies and initiatives, including both for-profit and not-for-profit.

Jurgen W. Krehnke is the president and general manager of SMA America and president of SMA Canada, the North American divisions of global solar technology giant SMA Solar Technology AG. In these roles, Krehnke is responsible for all sales, marketing, finance, logistics, and service in the North and Central American regions.
A native of Hamburg, Germany, Krehnke earned a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany. After starting his career as an integrated circuit designer for Dutch electronics giant Philips Electronics, Krehnke accepted an opportunity in 1994 to move to the U.S. He quickly took on management roles within Philips, leading him to run businesses and startup activities in the U.S. and Europe. Craig Lewis is the Founding Principal of RightCycle, a consultancy that achieves desirable Smart Energy outcomes via legislation, regulation, and public funding (grants, loan guarantees, siting incentives, etc). RightCycle also assists clients with the critical project development activities of evaluating project site viability and securing off-take agreements via RFO proposals and PPA negotiations. Mr. Lewis focuses his efforts in California and at the Federal level. He has over 20 years of experience working in high growth industries, including renewables, wireless, and semiconductors. Mr. Lewis transitioned from the wireless industry to the Smart Energy industry in 2005 by spearheading energy policy development for Steve Westly's 2006 gubernatorial campaign in California. Mr. Lewis is a leading Smart Energy strategist and advocate. He is the Founding Principal of the FIT Coalition and is currently leading the legislative effort in California to implement a comprehensive Feed-In Tariff (FIT) that will increase the size of California's renewable energy market by more than an order of magnitude. Mr. Lewis' legislative proposal is referred to as the Renewable Energy & Economic Stimulus Act (aka REESA FIT). The REESA FIT is being pursued via AB1106, which is authored by Assemblyman Fuentes, Chair of the Assembly Utilities & Commerce Committee. AB1106 is expected to be signed into law in 2010. Mr. Lewis is also a leading advocate for comprehensive FITs throughout the United States and for using them to unleash the tremendous potential of Wholesale Distributed Generation (WDG), which is the 20MW-and-under, distribution-interconnected market segment that avoids transmission dependencies and the long delays that are associated with transmission build-outs.

Steve Malnight is Vice President, Integrated Demand-Side Management, for Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Michael R. Montoya is the director of Engineering Advancement for Southern California Edison's Transmission & Distribution Business Unit (TDBU). Montoya's organization, created in November 2004, is responsible for distributed energy resources, distribution technical innovation, power system technologies, distribution automation, satellite communications, and research and development.
Throughout his 35 year career, Montoya has made many contributions in his technical and managerial roles. Prior to becoming Engineering Advancement director, he was previously responsible for managing the TDBU portion of the company's 2006 General Rate Case; was director of the TDBU Project Management organization and director of Grid Operations, Protection and Controls. Before that, Montoya held several positions, including manager of transmission substation projects, superintendent of transmission construction and maintenance, and superintendent of substation operations and maintenance. Director of Generation Planning & Strategy, Southern California Edison
Mark Nelson is currently the director of generation planning and strategy for Southern California Edison in Rosemead, CA. He has broad responsibility for the policy, expansion, and strategic planning of power generation, including new and existing fossil, nuclear, and renewable sources. Recent Edison projects and feasibility studies include a 250 MW rooftop solar PV program; an on-site fuel cell power program at state university campuses; a feasibility study for a 250 MW IGCC with carbon capture and sequestration;; and a number of other cutting edge projects.

Richard Robertson is the program manager for inverters at GE's Solar business - a position that he has held since 2007. Tom Starrs is managing director of the North America utility business unit. He manages business development and strategic planning for SunPower's utility sector business, including the growth and management of the project pipeline. Starrs has been highly committed to the renewable energy sector virtually all of his professional life. Most recently, Starrs served as managing director of solar power for Iberdrola Renewables, where he led the acquisition of a portfolio of nearly 150,000 acres of right-of-way applications for solar power development on federal lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management, representing nearly 24,000 MW of solar generating potential. His Fulbright research, which focused on renewable energy project financing during the credit crisis, was published in the international journal Energy Policy. Prior to this, Mr. Kann worked in the Clean Energy Markets division of Conservation Services Group, focusing on voluntary and compliance markets for renewable energy certificates. He has a Bachelor’s cum laude, phi beta kappa from Pomona College. He has spoken at industry conferences throughout the world on the subject of PV.
