Greentech Media announces a new conference for power producing utilities, project financiers, technology innovators and building professionals focusing on energy efficiency: “Avant EE: Innovations Reshaping the Energy Efficiency Market.” The one-day event is curated by Greentech Media’s Senior Editor of Energy Efficiency, Stephen Lacey, and will take place at the PG&E Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on July 29, 2013.

The conference will include an overview of the shifting efficiency marketplace based on a special report by Lacey that was released earlier this month. It will also feature keynote addresses by Janice Berman, Senior Director of Customer Energy Efficiency Strategy at PG&E, and Robert “Hutch” Hutchinson, Managing Director of the Rocky Mountain Institute.

Panels will cover energy efficiency financing, technology and product innovation, consumer and residential energy management, lessons from utility energy efficiency programs, and the impact of big data on “intelligent efficiency.” Lacey has worked to define the intelligent efficiency market, and published a special report earlier this month, Intelligent Efficiency: Innovations Reshaping the Energy Efficiency Market. Over 2,500 professionals have downloaded the report.
