Green Jobs: Cleantech VC Marc Van Den Berg Moves From VantagePoint to Technology Partners

Another VantagePoint Cleantech Partner becomes an ex-partner.

Eric Wesoff is Editor-at-Large at Greentech Media. A few weeks ago we reported that Marc van den Berg, a Partner at VantagePoint Capital Partners, was leaving Alan Salzman's VC firm to join a smaller cleantech venture investor. Although not yet declared on the website, van den Berg has joined up with Technology Partners and become the second cleantech partner at the Palo Alto, California firm, joining Partner Ira Ehrenpreis.

Van den Berg served on the board of Switch Lighting, Bridgelux, MiaSolé, Angstrom Power, and Amprius while at VantagePoint, according to his LinkedIn profile.

GE (NYSE: GE) has named 16-year company veteran Andy Holt to be general manager of Renewable Energy Services at GE Energy. Holt joined GE in 1996 after nine years as a pilot and flight instructor in the U.S. Navy.
