The Model S, the all-electric sedan from Tesla Motors, won't hit the streets until 2012.

But the prototype is out. And the person in the video, vice president of vehicle engineering Pete Rawlinson, can tell you all about it. One fun fact: the car has a radiator to keep the batteries cool.

Note: we haven't verified the statements made by Rawlinson, or even whether the car being shown is a real Model S. It could be a cleverly disguised Chevy Impala. Heck, "Pete" could be a body double from the set of Antiques Roadshow. But the videos are on Tesla's corporate web site, so that gives them some legitimacy.

Enjoy.
