Hillary Clinton is making energy and climate an important part of her presidential campaign. But like most politicians, she's largely sticking to talking points from her plan. In this week's show, we feature a conversation with her energy adviser, Trevor Houser, who gives some never-before-heard insight into how Secretary Clinton is thinking about distributed energy, carbon pricing and clean energy jobs.
We'll also feature a conversation with Bill Magness, the CEO of ERCOT, about how Texas is preparing for a surge of distributed energy in the state. Texas could see 15 gigawatts of new solar capacity in the next decade -- is the grid ready?
