April 1, 2008 Think climate change is serious?
Well, some people think the solutions can be funny.
AlternativeEnergy.com on Tuesday -- April Fool’s Day -- launched a comedy series focused on renewable energy hosted by Chuck Roy, a semi-finalist in "Last Comic Standing."
“I posted a video with wind-powered beer jokes,” Roy said in a written statement. “Five days later Doug is asking me for a comedy series. I’m tickled green at the audience response. After the first taping, all of our guest comedians asked to do the show again."
Aside from the jokes about New Belgium Breweries’ wind-powered beer, the first show includes alternative-energy plans such as a wood-burning electric car and a wind-powered car that only can travel west to east.
