About Greentech Media
Greentech Media is a leading business-to-business media and research organization that provides engaging news and analysis about the fast-growing clean energy industries. We’re looking to bring another motivated and savvy reporter onto our team.
Are you a motivated reporter who enjoys writing about business and technology trends? Greentech Media is looking to hire a full-time writer to assist with our editorial coverage of the clean energy industry. The writer will cover a variety of technology, finance and policy trends in solar, energy efficiency, utilities, grid modernization and energy storage.
The staff writer will be responsible for writing 1-2 articles per day, come up with ideas for monthly long-form feature articles and periodically assist with posting or editing contributed stories. The writer must be willing to travel to conferences.
We are an organization that thrives on entrepreneurial drive. The ideal candidate will be able to sniff out good stories, use creative storytelling methods and develop strong sources in the industry. We’re also looking for someone who enjoys coming up with new ideas and isn’t afraid to share them.
Our ideal writer doesn’t necessarily need to be an expert in clean energy (although that’s a big plus). Rather, she/he should have a passion for writing about emerging technologies and at least 1-3 years of experience reporting on business trends.
